Frequently Asked Questions about SAAT for allergies

SAAT is useful in treating almost any negative immune-response allergy/sensitivity, including, but not limited to:

Food Sensitivities:

Fruits, vegetables, nuts, wheat, gluten, dairy, sugar, preservatives, meat(alpha-gal) and more!

Home & Environment:

Dog, cat, & other animals, dust and dust mites, trees, pollen of specific species, grasses, poison ivy, latex & more!

Seasonal:

Grasses, weeds, pollens, trees, etc.

People with mild or moderate allergic reactions benefit tremendously from this technique. 

Many get relief from allergic symptoms as:

• gastrointestinal distress from particular foods
• swelling/itchy mouth from particular food consumption
• itchy/watery eyes, sneezing
• runny nose
• chest tightness and coughing when exposed to a particular animal (esp dog or cat)
• contact dermatological reactions (latex, poison ivy) to name the few common ones

The new client initial visit includes a full intake, health history and testing for other underlying conditions.  It is extremely important to understand that each person is unique and results will vary.  Identifying all the dietary, environmental or other underlying allergies is critical for success of this treatment. 

Appointments last approximately 1 - 1.5 hours. Once the specific allergens are identified, 5 very tiny needles will be placed in the ear and then a plaster will keep them in placed for 3-4 weeks.

The number of treatments will be determined by how many allergens will need to be treated. Five allergens will be treated per appointment. 

This procedure is not covered by any insurance companies.

Fees are due at time of service. Costs for SAAT treatments are:

$350.00 for new patients (includes initial appointment, testing and treatment of up to 5-7 allergens)  $50.00 for retesting.

$185.00 for established patients for additional allergen testing and treatment.
